We have diverse placements within our catchment area, ranging from core lifespan experiences to more specialist services linked to complex needs. As trainees you are initially allocated placements by geography and your lifespan experiences but you are able to negotiate some preferences for placements 4 and 5. Placement 6, the elective placement, is completely your choice and can be a specialist adult, child or older adult placement or working within a specialist service framework.
