You can use tools written by others in the AppExchange, such as CRMFusion’s Demand Tools which you download to your PC and which connects into the data through the back end (using your login ID). That service has a cost to commercial users and is free to nonprofits. You can download the data and build an offline access version that you can manipulate (using either SFs native “data loader” or using Demand Tools Backup utility which creates an offline mdb file for you). I believe Crystal Reports is available for SF on the AppExchange Or if you are a developer, you can develop a backend utility using the SF development environment.
