Is there an increased demand for Telecommunications Technicians?
The answer to this question is yes and no. For strictly cable technicians, there is actually a decreased demand; for wireless technicians, there is an increased demand. Telecommunications technicians maintain, and upgrade cable systems. These include fixed and mobile telephone networks, fax machines, cable, satellite and digital television networks and computer networks with email, Internet access and shared databases.
