Is there an explanation for the occurrence of concentric areas lacking spots?
This phenomenon is typically caused by foam formation during washing of the plates. Particularly squirt bottles with a narrow spout produce excessive foam preventing an effective and uniform wash. The use of an automatic washing device or squirt bottle with a wide spout is usually sufficient to overcome this problem.
