A. No. Customers can use either Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE) or Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to support MOM 2005 Workgroup Edition operational activities. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE) can be downloaded at no charge from the Microsoft Download Center. Microsoft SQL Server 2000 has to be licensed separately.
