Is there an engineering career which does not require chemistry?

I have an accredited BS Mech E. degree. I took 1 semester of material science to avoid having any chemistry. Chem is not required for accreditation for most engineering degrees. I did not use any significant chemistry in college, just touched a very little bit in elective power generation thermodynamics course. Any engineering degree other than ChemE shouldn’t require much or any chem. Many schools also offer non-accredited degrees, where you can skip one or more classes. Most employers don’t know the difference, but some do, and I wouldn’t go for a non-accredited degree. Check the catalog for your preferred schools to determine actual requirements and options for each degree of interest to you. They sometimes more than the accreditation folks require.
