There are two free packages that can help you do what you are looking for. I’ve used them both in XP and they both work pretty well. Personally, I prefer CamStudio a tiny bit more but they are both very good. CamStudio: This program will let you create AVIs or even convert those AVIs into Flash SWF files. http://www.camstudio.org/ Krut Screen Recorder: This program allows you to create Quicktime movies (.mov files) and is open source. http://sourceforge.net/projects/krut/ I would recommend trying them both and see which you prefer and which looks best for your particular application.
