Is there an Early Childhood Program available at the Gillett Elementary School?
The Early Childhood teacher conducts this program 4 days each week from 11:45 to 2:30, for children ages 3 to 5 who meet the program criteria. Early Childhood evaluations are made throughout the year and referrals are made through a doctor, the Oconto County Department of Human Services, or by contacting the school principal. Kindergarten screening is done in the spring, at Child Development Day. Notification is in the local newspaper and/or by a letter from the school district.
