Is there an audit trail available to view data modifications?
To help your practice achieve HIPAA compliance, PWS maintains an audit trail of functions that involve viewing or modifying patient data in two tables in the PWS database. The table called HIPPO_AUDIT_DAY logs activity for the current day. Once each day, the information in this table is cleared and appended to a table called HIPPO_AUDIT_ARCHIVE. It is a good idea to periodically export and clear the contents of the HIPPO_AUDIT_ARCHIVE table.
