Is there an audio or video component to the virtual classroom?

0

At this time the version of Blackboard that WTU owns does not allow for a video or audio component. However, some faculty persons may choose to record an audio version of his/her lecture and upload these audio files to the Blackboard class site. If the faculty person does this they will be found on the page for class resources. Depending upon the file format of these audio files they may be able to be played on an Apple iPod. Video files of lectures tend to be too large to upload to a Blackboard class site. However, as newer technology is developed this opportunity may be added as an extra feature of the Blackboard class site.
