Is there an attendance policy for online classes?
Attendance in an online course is defined as a learner who logs into the course shell a minimum of once during the class session. A class session is one week of instructional time (Monday 12:01 a.m. – Sunday 11:59 p.m.). Students must meet the minimum attendance requirements to stay active in the class. If a student misses more than 40 percent of class sessions he or she will not receive credit for the class. See the SPGS Catalog and Student Handbook 1.24 Mb for academic and financial penalties.
