There are many classes concerning Arab culture and language that you can take through the Arabic, Armenian, Persian, Turkish, and Islamic Studies (AAPTIS) Department. Also, the University of Michigan is currently in the process of continuing development of an Arab–American Studies department that will focus on the varied issues of the Arab–American community.
