There is a bit, yes. It is however more based in immegration etc of people who happen to be Muslim at the moment though. In post 7/7 bombing and September 11th Britain there was a greater concern about it; but now people are starting to understand that it was a minority of terrorists who were Muslim, just like some terrorists have other religions. I don’t think this predudice is justifiable, and I think it would be hard for you to find somebody that does. Older individuals, sadly like a few in my family, still believe England to be ‘A Christian Country’ and so expect otehrs to either be Christian or hide their own religion. Times are changing though, and more and more open minded non-muslim Brits are starting to realise there isn’t such an issue with Muslims specifically, and more Muslim Brits are coming out to say ‘we love Britain – we just have strong ties to our country of origin we don’t wnat to forget, and a great belief our religion that we would like to keep practicing’.
