Is there an alternative to ebay because Im sick of their arrogant monopoly on the auction world?
I ran into the same problem with eBay. The fees are completely outrageous, and it cut into my profits too much. eBay now also controls Yahoo! Auctions from my understanding. Through much research on the net, the ABSOLUTE BEST alternative I have found is www.onlineauction.com! At Online Auction, ALL you pay is $8 per month and you can list an UNLIMITED amount of auctions! There are no hidden fees or any charges if you sell your item either. I have hundreds of items listed and still I don’t pay any more than that. At Online Auction, there are over 4 million total items listed…which is considerably more than Wagglepop and iOffer. Its most definitely the best alternative I have found, and I have had a great amount of success listing there. However, you have to understand that this site hasn’t been around as long as eBay, and doesn’t have the amount of advertising in play…which means considerably fewer hits on your auctions.
