A. The Department also accepts the use of EPA registered baits and wood treatments as termite protection. For all treatment types, the application must be by a licensed pest control operator. See HUD Handbook 4910.1, 606-1, Mortgagee Letter 99-03, and/or Mortgagee letter 2001-04, for further clarification.
