Is there an age limit to qualify for disability credits?

0

A. In general, there is no age requirement. Children, under 18, with disabilities can qualify and the tax benefits can be transferred to a parent (or caregiver who is a family member) who pays taxes. If the child is eligible for the disability amount, that child is potentially eligible for the Child Disability Benefit under the Canada Child Tax Benefit as well.
