Is there an access charge for the WISCORS Network?
Currently, there is no charge to use the system. However a fee for each registered user will likely be implemented at some point in the future. WisDOT intends to use the fee structure to pay for maintenance of the system as well as hardware and software upgrades to keep the system current with future changes in technology. Discount rates will probably be available for entities that have several registered users, or ones that partner with WisDOT to provide equipment or allows a base station to be placed on their property. Other discounts may become available (For example educational institutions). Contact the WISCORS program manager for more information. Any information about fee structures will be distributed via the email address provided for the logon id registration.
