DSLReports (http://www.dslreports.com) has been around for many years and provides some great information. They have a service finder feature now based on zipcode that will list what providers exist for the area you’re moving to and what services they offer. I’m not sure that they provide any exact costing detail anymore (they used to but I think required partnerships they weren’t interested in). They do however provide links to each of the providers as well as feedback from local users who’ve already experienced the service in those areas. It really is a good site for finding great providers at the best rates (a lot of folks will indicate the speed and rate in their feedback). If you’re moving to an area with AT&T, they have a big push right now for a non-introductory DSL offerring at $14.99 month and a complete rebate on the DSL modem. Hope that helps!
