Yes there are a few around, like the trainline.co.uk. As well as many of the rail company sites that offer cheaper pre booked tickets if using there own services only. However there is a downside to internet booking. These are you must allow at least 7 days clear to allow post to get to you, or ensure that you can pick up the tickets at your local station, if the company allows it. A surcharge for the service is levied on top of the ticket price for administration. The tickets are non transferable and non refundable so therefore if you change your mind you have lost the chance of getting any money back normally unless it is a real emergency. Tickets lost in post or unable to obtain from local station are again quite a pain (have worked in a station that did not have the facilities and many customers who had been told to pick up there tickets could not understand when we told them to travel another 20 miles during 9 to 5 mon to fri only to the nearest point where they could pick them up
