Is there a web site that offers info into adoption agencys credientals?
Answer I didn’t use adoption agencies because their waiting lists were so long. We did private adoptions for all 3 of our children. However, your best bet would be to contact your local Catholic Charities or other organizations you would find in the yellow pages under social services. You can (and should) talk to several before you decide. The best “fit” is determined more by talking directly to them. As far as international adoptions, my neice adopted a little boy from the Marshall Islands several years ago, but they have since closed their out of country adoptions. She was also on the waiting list for China, but after a few years, so opted to adopt an African American baby girl from the State agencies. I think Russia is also cutting back on out of country adoptions. I think the South American counties are still looking for adoptive parents, though. You can contact Holt International for info on Central and South American adoptions. Research on the internet should provide you will num
