Is there a way to tell if conception has occurred before implantation?

Implantation usually occurs within a couple of days of conception. It is extremely rare to begin having any pregnancy symptoms at that early stage. Most women won’t start showing symptoms until approx 2 weeks after conception, right around the time they would expect their period. And remember, a lot of women never have any of the first trimester symptoms, so symptoms alone (other than missing your period) are never a good way of determining pregnancy.
