Is there a way to save the data file directly to my computer without having to download the self-extracting zip file (.exe)?
A. If you are using Microsoft® Internet Explorer 4.0 or 5.0, yes. Before you download your data, you will be prompted to either ‘Run this program from its current location’ or ‘Save this program to disk’. If you choose ‘Save this program to disk’, you will save the data in the self-extracting zip file (.exe) format. If you choose ‘Run this program from its current location’, the file will be saved directly as the data format. Be cautioned, however, that the download time will be longer if you choose the second method.
