Yes, there is if the HDD is able to supply data with the necessary speed. Usually the fast contemporary IDE HDD and motherboard can do it. The best way is to have two primary HDD and IDE controller witch can read/write independently (most contemporary motherboards are OK) of HDDs. When DVPlay plays files from first HDD you can write on the second with LAN or from a CD.
