Is there a way to prevent sand from washing away from stone paver joints?
I going to assume that your pavers are properly based and installed. There are a couple of products that can help to keep the sand in your joints. First is polymeric sand. This product is used in place of plain sand. The additive in polymeric sand binds the sand particles together. It re-solidifies every time it rains. This also helps to prevent weed seed germination in the cracks. To use this product you should first blow the existing sand out of your paver joints, sweep the ploymeric sand into the joints and then gently wet the sand.. The second product may make more sense for your patio since you have already swept sand into your paver joints. These products are paver sealers.
