Is There A Way To Predict A Childs Adult Height?
Here’s one way — from Mayo Clinic: • Add the mother’s height and the father’s height in either inches or centimeters. • Add 5 inches (13 centimeters) for boys or subtract 5 inches (13 centimeters) for girls. • Divide by two. (Most children will be within 4″ of this approximation.) • Here’s another — also from Mayo Clinic and said to be less accurate: • Another less accurate way to estimate a child’s adult height is to double his or her height at age 2. (Wow, that one sounds weird!) Here’s the link: www.mayoclinic.com Here’s another one: www.parenting.com (This one’s kinda’ cool!!) Have fun!!
