Is there a way to measure the innovations happening in the datacom market?
This was selected as Best Answer To “track” innovations, and better yet, the market, you can look at analysts like Gartner. THey release Magic Quadrants and reports on specific technologies like Wireless, Mobility, Unified Communications, Routing and Switching. They may have something in the MetroE market. I am not sure. To “measure” innovations…. i am not sure if I follow. If what you want to know is how many new products per unit of time, is what you are looking for… I guess you can check out the USPTO website (http://www.uspto.gov). They have a news section where they publish trends and studies.
