The Master Verification Database (MVD) is an optional online database that maintains the agency hierarchy check cashing policy, dishonored check information, and manually entered blocked items based on an agency’s policy. The Master Verification Database (MVD) provides downloads of prior negative PCC OTC check information and blocked items to the P.O.S. via the Local Verification Database (LVD) on a daily basis. To begin using this option, contact the Treasury OTC Support Center.
