At this time there is no way to directly Initialize a Pattern. The easiest way is to select an empty Pattern, then save that to the Pattern location you want to initialize. Alternatively, you could hold down ERASE while selecting all of the Track Mute buttons to clear all Tracks. There is a third method, but it’s only recommended if you haven’t created any User data, or if you have them properly backed up. Power on the Command Station while holding down the two Cursor buttons to boot into Diagnostic Mode. Now scroll the data wheel until you get to the menu option “17 Erase All User Data”, then press ENTER. This will initialize all User data (Songs, Patterns, Presets, Multisetups, User Arps, etc), so be sure you have backed up anything you want to restore once this is done.
