Is there a way to host a WoW private server without running it off you own computer?
I want to make a somewhat local RP server, but I have to use my computer for both classes and school. Therefore, I can’t have my computer constantly up to run WoW. Is there any way I can run a server that’s not hosted on my own computer? If anyone has any ideas, it would be great. Thanks. Private servers are against Blizzards TOS. If you have an active account with WoW, you agree to this every time you logon after a patch. Your account can be banned for playing on a private server. You might want to weigh whether losing access to your characters is worth it. Running a private server is actually illegal and Blizzard is one of the only game companies to succesfully win a court case against the operators of a private server.
