Is there a way to electronically download FBO notice data?
FBO supports a public file transfer protocol (FTP) site to promote sharing of notice information. The FTP site URL is ftp://ftp.fbo.gov/ and provides users with the ability to anonymously download notice information. This information is updated daily and follows the naming convention of “FBOFeedYYYYMMDD,” i.e. ftp://ftp.fbo.gov/FBOFeed20091012. You simply need to modify the date portion of the URL. Each daily file shows the changes during the reporting period (i.e. today’s date is for yesterday’s changes). Third party providers, known as Value-Added Networks (VAN), can use this feed to create the “big picture” on their system by building on the previous feed. The original notice and all modifications to archived notices are posted on one of the FTP feed files at some point in time.
