If the Officer saw the evidence, then that is as good as a photo. I think his work may be in violation of labor standards for their statements regarding his job security. He is innocent until proven guilty & he may have a good case against his employers, no matter what happens with your case. You could have your Public Defender talk to the DA about how this is affecting your family & they just might reduce the charges or ammend them to read differently, in order that he can retain his job & insurance.
