Is there a way to connect dumb terminals to an NT server?
Yes. Dumb terminals can be connected using an ethernet terminal server such as the Chase Research IOLAN. The KCML service on the NT server basically listens out for telnet connections and will present the terminal with a UNIX style login prompt when a connection is made. By default we do not ship the terminal set-up files for dumb terminals with the NT version of KCML However they are available from our http://www.kcml.com/download/download.html web site together with the tik utility to compile the individual terminal files from the source src file.
