Yes, you can use IMAP to access your Webmail through Outlook on your home computer. [POP3 access is not available] Inside Outlook, click the Tools menu and select Accounts. Click the Add button. Select IMAP. – Your Name: First Last – E-mail Address: (your CIUOnline email address) – User Name: (your CIUOnline email address, again) – Password: (your CIUOnline password) – Incoming (IMAP) mail server: mail.ciuonline.com – Outgoing (SMTP) mail server: smtp.ciu.web Leave all the default ports. smtp.ciuonline.com cannot be used (i.e., will not work) for sending mail from off-campus. To send mail from off-campus, can use any smtp server you wish — follow your isp’s mail server setup for setting up the outgoing mail server. Your incoming mail server for your ciuonline stills need to be the above.
