Is there a way of silencing squeeking noises from front/rear suspension when driving over bumps, after the car was not used for a while?

I fixed this on 2 cars by spraying WD40 on all suspension pivot points, particularly where the rubber dust seals rub on the metal parts. Unfortunately, I have to repeat this every 6 months to keep the suspension real quiet.
