Is there a way i can use my mp3 player in my car??

There are 2 ways to go about this. 1) If you want a CD player that plays MP3’s, you can get a no-name brand one for about $60-70, and install it in your vehicle 2) If you want a portable MP3 Player, and have a tape deck, you can use a tape deck cd player adapter that allows you to use a cd player through your existing car stereo (they work on anything with a headphone jack). Or, if you just have an AM-FM stereo, they sell FM Modulators that plug into your cigarette lighter, that use an FM signal to transmit the sound through your car stereo. However, the sound quality is only radio broadcast quality, and if you travel near power lines, or have a cell phone in the car, it will pick up the interference and transmit it through the radio.

Use an MP3 transmitter to transmit the music from your MP3 player to your FM radio. See the link below for an example of one of these devices. A universal transmitter plugs into the head phone jack of your MP3 player and broadcasts the music over an FM signal. You then tune your FM radio to the matching frequency. What is nice about these is that they require no wiring and can be easily transferred to another vehicle. You can use them with any device that has a standard head phone jack. I’ve been using one of these for years with my cheap MP3 player and it works pretty well. You want to find one that has many options for transmitting frequencies. Especially if you live near a city. You need to find a frequency without a radio station on it for it to work best. This may be a problem if you live in a city with lots of radio stations. I live in a rural area so this is not a problem for me.
