Absolutely! I live in LA and there are various avenues for you to be a successful magician here. You could be a street performer at such locales as Hollywood Boulevard or the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. If you are really good, there is a local establishment called the Magic Castle which is a society of magicians; people who work there are very well paid and use magic as a career path. There is also high demand for magicians in entertainment centers such as Las Vegas, Disneyland, Cruise lines, and other venues. If you are extraordinarily successful, you can follow in the footsteps of such performers as David Blaine and David Copperfield, who are multi-millionaires. Life is about doing what you love, not what is going to make you the most money or make others happy. Just remember to follow your dream.
