Is there a way for patients to get help right away if they fall?
All patients are thoroughly assessed for potential fall risk and measures are put in place to provide for their safety while maintaining their independence. With call cords readily available at each bedside and in each bathroom and while using other appropriate measures like bed and chair alarms and visual checks, we do our best to help patients avoid falling and to be there if they do fall.
