Is there a way around Knoxvilles road construction and not sit in traffic?

If you’re referring to the closing of I-40 through downtown Knoxville, it’s finished and has been reopened for several weeks now. However, coming from Kentucky you wouldn’t have gone through downtown Knoxville on I-40 anyway (assuming you’re coming down I-75). I’m not aware of any other road construction projects in Knoxville that would create a lot of traffic.
