Is there a waterfront public promenade project already designed, or do we have to propose a new “building+park+promenade” project?
There is currently portions of a public promenade along the East River waterfront but no public promenade on the competition site. Participants should not design anything on areas not on the competition site. Participants are not required to include a public promenade on the competition site but may include one if the individual design suggests that a public promenade is appropriate for the design solution.
