Is there a waiting list for a particular breed/type/size?

0

The Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society does not maintain a waiting list. Prospective adopters are encouraged to fill out a wishlist form if they are interested in a particular type of animal not currently available for adoption (examples: young female medium-sized dog who is good with cats; senior Maine Coon mix cat), but this does not place them on a waiting list, place the animal on hold, or guarantee adoption. Our adoption staff routinely reviews our wishlist forms and will contact prospective adopters if we have an animal who may be a good match. Because our program is busy and animals tend to be made available for adoption quickly, the best way to find the type of animal you’re looking for is to keep checking our website.
