Is there a virus scanning program for use with Sims 2 downloads?
I think those are the only programs that work the best. At least, those are the most recommended on the Sims 2 forums. Try removing your downloads folder to your desktop, then go back into your game and play for a while. If the problem doesn’t return, then you know it’s something in your downloads folder still. That’s an easy fix. Just start adding downloads back, a few at a time, then go back into your game and play for a little while. If the problem comes back, you’ll know which downloads to delete. This is a problem a lot of people have, and this is a solution that is commonly suggested on the Sims 2 forums.
