Check the Churchill Downs web site. I know the first horse took a bad step in the First race, I read later that the jockey was taken to the hospital and the horse (vinstarr) was euthanized. I do not know about the second horse. It is tragic that Vinstar took a bad step. He was in 3rd and would mostly have taken the win. It is sad and my heart goes out to the jockey, trainer and owners.
