Is there a variety of pear tree that does not bear fruit but does have the flowers?

There is a variety of pear tree called the Bradford Pear that has beautiful, white flowers in the spring, and turns a brilliant red-orange in the fall. I have one growing in my side yard. We planted it about 10 years back, when we bought the house, and it’s grown quickly enough that it’s a good shade tree – and a place to hang a swing for my little daughter. The town where I live often plants them as parkway trees because they are fast growing. They are, however, relatively short-lived, and we will have to take it out in 15 or 20 years. The tree does not bear edible fruit, but it does have small, hard, berry-like fruits that don’t cause us any real problems. I have heard that this tree is susceptible to wind and ice damage, but we have had no problems with ours. There are some variants of it that are hardier than others. A local nursery could advise you better than I on the suita
