Is there a universal indicator of an unhealthy (mammalian) cell?

I don’t think I understand this question exactly. In general, unhealthy cells die, unless they are tumorogenic (cancer cells), so an indicator I suppose would be the presence of apoptosis (programmed cell death) markers and cell shapes. In addition, there are general diagnostic tests of bodily fluids and scans that point to abnormal cell metabolism.
