Is there a tool available which creates 3D data flow diagrams?
I am looking to diagram a data flow from one set of multiple sources (DB’s, Spreadsheets, etc.), through a software program, and out to a second set of multiple sources (reporting software, DB’s, etc.). The audience for this diagram is the end user community. They are visual learners and are having difficulty conceptualizing the process we are implementing. I am currently using MS Visio, but being limited to a flat display isn’t allowing me to present the process as clearly as I’d like. Perhaps there are graphic design programs which could be adapted to fit this purpose?
