Is this related to all of the above? This specific challenge pertains to the business processes, which support the delivery of benefits administered by the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). VBA’s current benefits claims process depends on paper documents. Given the sheer volume of claims, this dependence on paper is inefficient and costly, and puts sensitive veteran data at risk. Moreover, the existing information technology (IT) infrastructure is stand-alone, and with a few important exceptions, works with a paperbound, rather than a paperless process.
