• My mother has a history of migraine headaches. Now, at 50 years old and suffering from pre-menopause symptoms, her migrianes have gotten worse. Could this be a symptom ofa brain tumor or is it one of the pre-menopause symptoms. • I get really bad headaches when I cough and sneeze. I show no other symptoms of a brain tumor. Could something else be causing this pain? • Are GBMs hereditary? My father-in-law passed away a year ago this January from a GBM. My husband has a doctor’s appointment next week because he has had a headache for the past week. Can this be passed down? • I’m probably being paranoid but I’d like a second opinion. In February, 2001, I had vertigo and headaches that lasted for two weeks. In December, 2002, I had a reoccurence of vertigo and headaches that lasted almost four weeks. The vertigo has subsided but the dull headache is still fairly constant. I have seen a neurologist and I had a CT scan and an MRI, both of which appeared normal. I’m still concerned, however
