The appendices of the State Indicators for Science and Mathematics Education 2005 contains a state-by-state breakdown of the number of mathematics and science teachers. The Secretary’s Annual Report on Teacher Quality also includes a state-by-state listing of the number of science teachers and the percentage of those teachers on waivers in the supplemental table section. State-by-state profiles that are specifically tailored to K-12 STEM Education are available.
