Is there a standard form of division order?
For many years there was no standard form of division order and each payor had its own form. Now, the state of Texas has adopted a statutory form division order for oil production. Also, the National Association of Division Order Analysts (NADOA) has prepared a widely used form that covers both oil and gas production. The NADOA form is patterned after and nearly identical to the Texas Model Oil Division Order Form.
