Is there a specific Burnout game (1, 2, 3, or Revenge) that it will resemble most?
CHANNON: Burnout Dominator isn’t modelled after any one single Burnout game, but rather the core of the entire series, which is dangerous, skilful driving at absolutely ridiculous speeds. Games like Burnout Revenge focused more on crashing and destruction, and while there are still elements of that in the Burnout Dominator, we wanted to focus more on the racing experience and the sensation of speed. We wanted gamers to FEAR crashing, which makes the high-speeds in the game even more intense. To instil players with a fear of crashing we decided to remove traffic checking from this game. Some people will like this move right away, some won’t at first, but it really adds an element of fear, intensity and immediacy to the racing.
